The Venue: 

Set amongst rolling hills and ancient vineyards, the luxurious Oliveto Estate comes with 8 acres of manicured gardens overlooking its very own 400-tree olive grove. With uninterrupted views of the Adriatic coast and untouched Italian landscape, here you will enjoy the slow way of life, and once you have entered the 50 metre long driveway lined with Olive trees, you won’t want to leave. You will have access to both Villa Olivo and Villa Oliveto as we have secured the entire estate for your private stay. Each bedroom, living and relaxation area has been beautifully crafted to the highest of standards and includes access to 2 x pools (1 x infinity pool), a Spa complete with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, a well-equipped gym; as well as plentiful downtime spaces inside and out where evening can be spent gathered around the fire-pit or relaxing in one of the many lounges.

 Sample Daily Itinerary:


8:00am onwards: Fresh fruit platter and tea/coffee/fresh juice served

9:30am: Guided meditation followed by Vinyasa flow yoga class 

11:30am: Hearty Italian style brunch prepared by private chef

Free time to explore the local countryside on the bikes provided, relax by the pool, enjoy a day at the beach or unwind in the Spa facilities. 

6:00pm: Yin/Restorative yoga followed by sleep inducing Yoga Nidra

7:30pm: Dinner curated by the estates private chef – sample menu TBC

9:00pm onwards: Chats & smores by the firepit 




Yoga & Mindfulness:

Yoga Mara will be offering various styles of yoga and mindfulness practice throughout your Italian Escape. The benefits of practicing different styles of yoga at different times of the day are proven to help with boosting energy levels, aid healthy sleep, and enable complete relaxation and revitalization of the body and mind. 

Yoga Mara will also be providing guided and non-guided meditations throughout your stay. The benefits of practicing meditation and mindfulness are endless and we will use this time to make sure you are connecting with your mindfulness practice. As some may struggle to connect with a guided meditation, we will be also providing you with the tools to introduce mindfulness to your day in simple forms. This can be an expression of forest bathing, mindful eating practices and simple breath-work.

There will be something for everyone!

Benefits of meditation and mindfulness practice  include lower levels of stress, reducing asthmatic episodes, physical pain, insomnia, episodic anger, negative or irrational thinking, and anxiety, as well as improving coping skills, focus, and a general feeling of well-being.

Some of the yoga styles we will be practicing together are:

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.  Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga, Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike. The variable nature of Vinyasa Yoga helps to develop a more balanced body as well as prevent repetitive motion injuries that can happen if you are always doing the same thing every day.

Yin Yoga

Poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, its goals are awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality.

Yoga Nidra

(or Yogic Sleep) is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the “going-to-sleep” stage, typically induced by a guided meditation. There is evidence that yoga nidra helps to relieve stress and is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.
